Scoring Points

Your team will score points based upon how your chosen players perform in Barclays Premier League matches during the 2009/10 season. Points are awarded to players in the following ways:

Event Points Details
All Players:
Anytime Appearance +1 Awarded for getting onto the pitch.
Goal +4  
Assist +3  
Man of the Match +3 Awarded to the Skysports.com Man of the Match. This may vary from the televised Man of the Match.
Yellow card -1  
Red card -2 Includes -1 for yellow card.
Goalkeepers/Defenders Only:
Defensive Game Played +1 Awarded for playing 45 mins or more, in addition to anytime appearance point.
Goalkeeper/Defender Clean Sheet +4 Must play 75 mins, inc. 1 pt for 45 min appearance.
Goalkeeper/Defender Goal Against -1  

Your captain will score double points for your team, both positive and negative.

The points your players earn make up your cumulative team points total. Every manager's team competes on the Fantasy League leaderboard with first place awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the season and the manager with the top points scoring team in a calendar month named Manager of the Month.

The decision of Fantasy League will be final on all points matters.
