FAQs

What do I need to do to register?

To register for Fantasy Football, simply click the Join, Sign Up or Register links available throughout the site.  

From here you’ll be asked to choose your side for the coming season. Use the Player List to the right to choose your team and then select a team name, enter your email address, the team you support and click ‘Submit Team’

Note: If you have an existing account with any of the following, logging in with these details will allow for a quicker and easier way to register for Fantasy Football:

- Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Bingo or Sky Vegas account
- Soccer Saturday Super 6 account
- Challenge.co.uk account

I can’t remember my login details?
If you’ve forgotten your login details from a previous season or competition, existing login details can be retrieved online here.

I can’t remember if I’ve registered before?
If you’re unsure if you’ve registered for Fantasy Football before you can use our online retrieval service to locate any existing details.

Please note that if you’ve registered for Fantasy Football with Teamtalk.com, Sportinglife.com or Football365.com, you cannot also register for Sky Sports Fantasy Football as they share the same registration platform.

How do I use my Sky Bet/Super 6 account to register?
Simply enter your Sky Bet, Soccer Saturday Super 6 or Challenge.co.uk User ID and PIN to log in. We will automatically fill in as much of the Fantasy Football registration form as we can. It makes it much quicker and easier for you and it means you can keep the same User ID and PIN for Sky Bet and Fantasy Football.

Can I have more than one account?
You’re only allowed to register once and submit a maximum of 2 teams. We reserve the right to disqualify entries from anyone who we think may have more than one account.

Can I log in if I have a closed, suspended or self-excluded account?
If you have a closed or suspended account you can NOT login to Fantasy Football. However, if the account is self-excluded, you CAN login to Fantasy Football.

How do I know how well my team is doing?
If you’d like to know how you’re doing overall, the ‘Leaderboard’ option in the top menu will display your position if you’re one of the Top 200 managers in the game. The ‘Monthly’ tab will also tell you if you’re eligible for a Manager of the Month award – check the ‘Prizes’ section under ‘How to Play’ for details of the current prize(s).

When is the site updated?
You can view the progress of your Fantasy Football team and view live update commentary on the Game Website. Team scores will automatically update as an event occurs in real-life games. Live scores are an indication of the points that your team has earned during the course of the games with your final and confirmed total coming the morning after each Game Day.

How do I change my details?
Log in, use the ‘Help+’ option and select ‘Update Details’

How can I register for a league?
If a friend has given you the joining details, you can register for a league by using the ‘Leagues+’ menu option and selecting ‘Join/Create’. From this page, you’ll be asked to enter the League Name and PIN information provided by the League Chairman. Simply click the ‘Join League’ button to be submitted to the league.

How can I create a league?
To create a league for your family, friends or colleagues to take part in, simply use the ‘Leagues+’ menu option and select ‘Join/Create’. From this page, firstly decide on a name for your League and press the ‘Create League’ button. From the next page, select whether you’d like the league to be free to play or whether you’d like to create an entry fee with a Private League+. Confirm these details and the League will be created – you’ll find the League Name and PIN to the top-right hand corner of the page. Why not share these details using the Email, Facebook and Twitter options available?

What is a Private League+?
A Private League + is a Private League where you can bet against the other managers in your league. Having created a Private League, Chairmen will be given the option to create a Private League + and play for cash. This is a FREE service and all funds submitted will be paid out to the winners.

Who names the Man of the Match?
The Man of the Match is decided by the journalists at skysports.com. Please note that this may differ to the televised announced Man of the Match. Read the match reports at www.skysports.com to find out who was named Man of the Match for each game.

What are transfers?
Transfers, also referred to as 'Team Changes', are the means by which you can replace one of your chosen footballers with another. Transfer opportunities are strictly limited with a maximum of 30 available throughout the season. Refer to 'How to Play' -> ‘The Basics’ section for further detail.

What are Bonus Points?
Bonus points are awarded based on data collected and assessed by OPTA Sports. Example definitions include:

Passing is described as:
“All accurate passes (excluding crosses).”

Tackle is defined as:
“Total tackles won"
